The DSD program is designed for individuals who have little to no prior scuba diving experience but want to try scuba diving to see if they enjoy it before committing to a full scuba diving certification course. PADI DSD experiences are a great way for beginners to dip their toes into the world of scuba diving and decide if it's a hobby they want to pursue further. 

Here's what you can expect from a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience:

 Participants typically need to meet some basic health and fitness requirements, and we will ask you to complete a medical questionnaire to ensure that you are fit for scuba diving.

 The program begins with a brief orientation and introduction to scuba diving. This includes information about the equipment, basic diving principles, and safety guidelines.

 Participants will have the opportunity to practice basic scuba diving skills in our lagoon. An experienced PADI instructor will guide you through these skills, which may include clearing your mask, regulator recovery, and buoyancy control, once these are completed you will go for a short dive within the lagoon. 

 After the confined water session and short dive, participants get a chance to experience a real open water dive from the boat for an addition fee. This dive is conducted in the ocean on a suitable dive site with conditions appropriate for beginners. The depth and duration of the dive will depend on your individual comfort level.

 During the open water dive, you'll be closely supervised by our PADI instructor, who will ensure your safety and assist you as needed. You'll get to explore the underwater world, observe marine life, and experience the thrill of scuba diving.

 It's important to note that the Discover Scuba Diving experience does not result in a scuba diving certification. It's a way for people to sample scuba diving without committing to a full course. If you decide you want to become a certified diver, you can enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course, which builds on the skills introduced during the DSD experience.

The PADI Rescue Diver course is a crucial and rewarding course; it will expand your knowledge and experience beyond the recreational diving level as well as make you a more confident diver and better dive buddy. The PADI Rescue Diver course will teach you techniques to prevent and solve problems and make you more aware of potential hazardous situations both in and out of the water.  To enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver course, you generally need to be at least 10 years old, be in reasonably good physical health, and be comfortable in the water. You may also need to complete a medical questionnaire to ensure you don't have any medical conditions that could affect your ability to dive.

 You'll learn about the basic principles of scuba diving, including dive physics, physiology, equipment, and safety procedures. There are 5 sections to complete with a small exam at the end.  This knowledge development portion will be completed through self-pace E-learning, which can be done prior to your arrival.   

 You'll practice essential scuba skills in a controlled environment our lagoon. These skills include mask clearing, regulator recovery, buoyancy control, and emergency procedures. Under the guidance of our certified PADI instructor, you'll become proficient in these skills.

 You'll apply what you've learned in the classroom and during confined water training in real open water settings. You'll complete a minimum of four open water dives, during which you'll demonstrate your ability to dive safely and comfortably.

 The PADI Open Water Diver course typically takes a few days to complete. It can very person to person but normally it takes 3-5 days.

 Upon successful completion of the knowledge development, confined water training, and open water dives, you'll receive the PADI Open Water Diver certification. This certification is recognized worldwide and allows you to dive independently with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet).

 To complete the course, you'll conduct a total of five open water dives. These dives will correspond to the specialty areas you studied in the knowledge development section. For example, if you chose drift as one of your specialties, you'll do a drift dive during the course.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOW)

 is a popular choice if you are looking to

 on certain types of dives. It's an excellent addition to the skills and knowledge of any certified diver and can open up new opportunities for more extended and enjoyable underwater experiences. This course, often referred to as the Nitrox course, is a specialty certification that allows you to use enriched air (EANx) as a breathing gas during scuba dives. Enriched air nitrox contains a higher percentage of oxygen and a lower percentage of nitrogen compared to standard air. This course teaches you how to plan and execute dives using EANx safely and effectively. 

Here are the key aspects of the PADI Enriched Air Diver course:

 To enroll in the PADI Enriched Air Diver course, you need to be at least 12 years old and have a certification as a PADI Open Water Diver or an equivalent certification from another recognized scuba diving organization.

 You'll learn about the benefits and risks of using enriched air nitrox, how to analyze the oxygen content in your tank and how to plan dives with EANx. The knowledge development portion of the course will be completed through self-paced e-learning and a short "classroom" session with your instructor. 

 You'll practice the skills necessary for using enriched air nitrox, including analyzing the gas in your tank to confirm its oxygen content and setting your dive computer or dive tables for EANx dives.

 Upon successful completion of the course, you'll receive the PADI Enriched Air Diver certification card. This certification allows you to purchase and use enriched air nitrox for your scuba dives, as long as you stay within the maximum allowable oxygen percentage for your certification level.

Broken Rock is indeed a well-known dive site in the Maldives, and it's a popular spot for divers due to its unique underwater topography and marine life. 

Here is some information about Broken Rock:

 The name Broken Rock aptly describes the site. It features a large underwater pinnacle or rock formation that appears to have split or broken into two parts, creating a channel or swim-through in between. The site is famous for its dramatic and photogenic underwater landscapes.

 Divers can expect to encounter a wide variety of marine life. You may see schools of colorful reef fish, moray eels, turtles, and an assortment of coral species. Additionally, it's a good place to spot larger pelagic species like sharks and rays, and if you're lucky, you might encounter whale sharks or manta rays in the area.

 The depth at Broken Rock can vary, making it suitable for both novice and experienced divers. The shallowest parts are around 5-10 meters (16-33 feet), while the deeper sections can go past 30 meters (100 feet).

 Visibility in the Maldives is generally excellent, and Broken Rock is no exception. You can often enjoy clear waters with visibility ranging from 20 to 40 meters (65 to 130 feet).

 Since Broken Rock is lying within a channel you can experience moderate to strong currents there. It's important to stay close and listen to your guide who is familiar with the conditions. Divers often plan their dives based on tidal movements to experience the channel swim-through.

Broken Rock is among the most popular diving sites in the South Ari Atoll. Watch out for the huge fan corals that protrude from the sides as you swim down the canyon that divides the thila in half. Broken Rock is a fantastic dive site that constantly offers something fresh thanks to the local Napoleon wrasse, turtles, scorpion fish, a wonderful array of marine life, including numerous kinds of moray eels, and an abundance of soft coral.

It is characterized by its stunning coral formations, swim-through, and a diverse range of marine life. You'll find hard and soft corals in various shapes and colors, creating a picturesque underwater landscape. This makes it an ideal location for underwater photography.

 The dive site is teeming with marine life, making it a paradise for underwater enthusiasts. You can expect to encounter various species of reef fish, including vibrant snappers, bannerfish, and fusiliers. The site is also known for encounters with turtles, moray eels, and even reef sharks.

 The depth at Kuda Rah Thila varies, making it suitable for divers of different experience levels. It typically ranges from around 12 to 30 meters (33 to 98 feet), with some areas going deeper.

 The visibility in the Maldives is generally excellent, and Kuda Rah Thila is no exception. On a clear day, you can often enjoy visibility exceeding 20 meters (65 feet) or more.

 Since Kuda Rah Thila is lying within a channel you can experience moderate to strong currents. It's essential to dive with an experienced guide who is familiar with the site's conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable dive.

Kuda Rah Thila is one of the most famous dive sites in South Ari atoll. this protected site is considered to be the most beautiful of the archipelago thanks to its outstanding diving conditions. Divers will not be left indifferent by the caves framed by large gorgonians, black corals, as well as soft pink and orange corals. Kuda Rah Thila is covered with soft corals and host many species such as flatworms, snappers, jacks and batfish..

Five rocks has originally been one pinnacle which split into five due to age and strong currents. 

Here is what you can expect diving on Five rocks: 

 The "Five Rocks" dive site is characterized by a cluster of five submerged pinnacles or rocks that rise from the depths of the ocean. These pinnacles are covered in vibrant corals and offer an incredible underwater landscape for divers to explore.

 The site is teeming with marine life, and you can expect to encounter a variety of reef fish, including angelfish, butterflyfish, and triggerfish. The area is also home to large pelagic such as sharks, rays, and turtles. Additionally, you may see schools of snappers and fusiliers.

 The depth at "Five Rocks" can range from approximately 14 to 30 meters (33 to 98 feet). You have to be an advanced diver to be able to dive that site. 

 Like many dive sites in the Maldives, "Five Rocks" typically offers excellent visibility, often exceeding 20 meters (65 feet) or more on clear days.

 Since the site is lying within a channel the currents at "Five Rocks" can vary from moderate to strong. . It's essential to stay close to your guide who is familiar with the site's conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable dive. Strong currents can attract pelagic species, making it an exciting dive.

Five Rocks, Sometimes called “Reethi Thila” ‘Beautiful Thila’ in the local language certainly lives up to its name, consists of 5 rocky outcrops lying roughly in a circle and featuring a series of fissures, caverns and overhangs. The dive begins by dropping down onto the 5 rocks to the floor at about 25 to 30m. In the channels between the rocks and dropping down the reef slope, there are a lot of pink gorgonian fans. The reef also features a lot of tubastrea coral, sponges, anemones and encrusting algae, all adding up to a very colourful scene. Five Rocks is a favorite among photographers for its dramatic underwater landscapes
